We’ll help you find a great air conditioner.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your air conditioning options, we’re here to help. We’ll answer your AC questions, ask about your needs and wants, and help you choose a system that is the right size and has the right amount of power to get the job done.
Here are a few questions your Home Comfort Advisor may ask before offering a custom cooling solution:
How big is your home?
Size is an important consideration when choosing an air conditioning system.
When you choose Reliance, we will conduct a complete, detailed analysis of your home’s cooling requirements, ensuring that you have the optimal system.
How is your home insulated?
Your home’s insulation, and even its windows, may affect the size and power air conditioning unit needed to keep it comfortable during the summer months.
Is energy conservation a priority?
If conserving energy is important to you, we’ll point out ENERGY STAR® certified air conditioners with high SEER ratings.

SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. This ratio is a way to measure the energy efficiency of an air conditioner. Most air conditioners have a SEER rating between 13-21. A higher number indicates a more energy-efficient unit, so this number is something to keep in mind if you’re looking to conserve energy and reduce your utility bills.
To help keep your air conditioner running efficiently and without interruption, we recommend having it serviced every year. Booking an annual AC inspection may help identify and rectify any small issues before they interrupt your comfort. Regular maintenance could help reduce your energy costs and prolong the life of your air conditioning unit.
Some local utilities offer rebates to encourage homeowners to invest in an energy-efficient air conditioner. Ask your Home Comfort Advisor whether there are rebates available in Oakville and which air conditioners may qualify.
