Review and Update Your Banking Information

Follow these steps to review your banking information and update your payment method:

Step 1: Sign in to MyReliance

  1. Sign In or Sign Up if you don’t have an account.

Step 2: Check Your Bank Account Details

  1. Go to Payment Accounts
  2. Under Bank Accounts, select your linked bank account
  3. Make sure the details match your bank records exactly

💡 Still seeing an issue? Contact your bank directly to find out why the payment was rejected.

Step 3: Update or Add a New Payment Method

  1. Go to Payment Accounts
  2. Click Add New Bank Account or Add New Credit Card
  3. Enter your details exactly as they appear on your bank records or card
  4. Click Save

Step 4: Set Up Recurring Payments Again

  1. Go to Payments and select Pre-Authorized Payments
  2. Click Add Pre-Authorized Payment
  3. Choose your Reliance account number from the list
  4. Pick your updated payment method
  5. Click Save

✅ To Avoid Future Issues:

  1. Make a one-time payment for any outstanding balance.
  2. Make sure your bank account has enough funds before your next billing date.

What to Do if Your Credit Card Payment Didn’t Go Through

Here’s what to do if your credit card payment didn’t go through:

Step 1: Sign in to MyReliance

  1. Sign In or Sign Up

Step 2: Check Your Credit Card Details

  1. Go to Payment Accounts
  2. Under Credit Card, confirm your details match your physical card exactly

Step 3: Update or Add a New Payment Method

  1. Go to Payment Accounts
  2. Click Add New Credit Card or Add New Bank Account
  3. Enter your info exactly as it appears on your statements
  4. Click Save

Step 4: Set Up Recurring Payments Again

  1. Go to Payments > Pre-Authorized Payments
  2. Click Add Pre-Authorized Payment
  3. Select your Reliance account number
  4. Choose your new payment method
  5. Click Save

✅ To Avoid Future Issues:

  1. Please pay any current balance to keep your account in good standing.
  2. Ensure your credit card has enough available credit for the next invoice (includes both posted and pending charges).
