How to Qualify for the Full FortisBC Rebate*: 

✔ Call on Reliance™ to book your free no-obligation quote before April 30, 2025 

✔ Submit a quote and proof of paid deposit on the FortisBC application portal on or before April 30, 2025 

✔ Be available for us to install the equipment on or before May 31, 2025. Note: if your installation was completed on or before April 30, 2025, make sure your invoice is dated on or before April 30, 2025.  

✔ You must submit your complete rebate application within six months of the invoice date (12 months for income qualified customers) 

What is a Dual Fuel Heating System? 

A dual fuel system pairs a ducted heat pump with a high-efficiency natural gas or propane furnace. The system automatically switches between the heat pump and furnace based on outdoor temperatures for year-round comfort and efficiency. 

Rebate Overview 

• Up to $15,000 for income-qualified homeowners – ends on May 1, 2025 

• Up to $10,000 for non-income qualified homeowners – ends on May 1, 2025 

• Up to $5,000 for non-income qualified homeowners  

• Must upgrade from a primary natural gas or propane heating system 

• Heat pump must have minimum capacity of 12K BTU (1 ton) 

• Must replace a furnace 10+ years old (boilers not eligible)
