In the Community

Reliance Home Comfort™ is committed to providing physical, emotional and financial comfort to Canadians. From heating and cooling equipment donations, participating in Habitat for Humanity Build Days across Canada, to fundraising for the United Way's annual Workplace Campaign, Reliance Team Members are dedicated to making a difference in the communities we call home.

We build long-term partnerships with organizations that enhance community life and promote well-being through sponsorships that positively impact all of us.

Reliance Home Comfort donated 20 furnaces to Habitat for Humanity in 2015. 121 team members spent 18 days building homes

Habitat For Humanity Canada

Our business is providing home comfort to Canadian families and we understand the true value of what it means to call a property home. Reliance is a partner with Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live. 

In 2015, with the help of our HVAC and Water Heater manufacturer partners, we donated $300,000 worth of equipment and installation hours.

United Way Canada

United Way builds partnerships in the community to address social issues such as poverty, lack of affordable housing and domestic violence. Through our annual United Way campaigns, team members have demonstrated their commitment to building stronger communities. In fact, in 2015 our team members donated over $328,000! Together, we're building a better community for us all.

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is a national association that represents more than 1,300 heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) manufacturers, wholesalers and contractors, and which provides Canadians with the tools and information necessary to ensure their total indoor environment comfort.

The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)

The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is a not-for-profit, self-funded organization dedicated to enhancing public safety on behalf of the government of Ontario. TSSA's Boilers and Pressure Vessels (BPV) Safety Program regulates all pressure-retaining components manufactured or used in Ontario to ensure boilers, pressure vessels and piping systems conform to the Technical Standards and Safety Act, applicable regulations, codes and standards. TSSA performs the required installation inspection for all boilers, pressure vessels and piping systems in Ontario.
